Indira Gandhi National Open University, (i.e. the IGNOU) is a National University has its principal place of business is situated in the heart of New Delhi, Delhi, India. Former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi named University was founded in 1985, the budget of the INR 2000 crore, when India Parliament passed in Accra National Open University Act, 1985 (IGNOU Act 1985).
